    By using a smaller tap hole, the 5/16" hookless aluminum spout can reduce the damage that may occur when tapping maple trees.

    The smaller diameter hole will heal faster than traditional 7/16" holes.

    This spout will work with galvanized buckets: just insert the spout through the bucket hole and place behind the "shark fin."
