The addition of Methyl Sulphonyl Methane, is an excellent source of the sulphur, promoting healing and enhancing the production of glutathione (GSH), a powerful antioxidant composed of three amino acids- cysteine, glutamine and glycine which help neutralize oxidative damage and inflammation resulting from injury, hard training and lactic acid production.

​In a study with 24 thoroughbred race horses, glutathione levels were enhanced when horses were supplemented with MSM, therefore improving recovery times post race and improving performance.
